Protium to develop Teesside’s largest green hydrogen project

A new 40MW hydrogen project in Teesside, UK, is set to significantly boost the net zero capabilities of the region with this project marking the area’s largest green hydrogen project to date.

Being developed by Protium in the Tees Valley Freeport, the plant will include up to 40MW of electrolysis with hydrogen storage capabilities to allow hydrogen to be supplied when it is needed.
