Proton Motor receives award for hydrogen bus

Proton Motor has received the ‘International Busplaner Sustainability Award’ for the development of its cleantech HyRange hybrid bus, which can use hydrogen as fuel.

The award was granted during a ceremonial event last week (Thursday 15th April) at a digital special edition of ‘BUS2BUS’ by Messe Berlin, with winners in 13 categories whose products and services have high potential for the bus industry.

The Proton Motor HyRange bus utilises the company’s Proton Motor fuel cell system, which aims to revolutionise transportation by offering a carbon-free alternative, as it ensures the battery is constantly charged with electrical energy by powering it with renewable hydrogen.
