Quantron’s hydrogen-powered vehicles to be utilised in pay-per-use model

Quantron has supplied hydrogen-powered fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV) to hylane to be deployed on the roads as part of a pay-per-use model.

hylane, a subsidiary of DEVK Versicherungen, will utilise the vehicles to distribute goods for the retail trader in inner-city areas using zero-emission vehicles.

The QUANTRON QLI FCEV light transporter is the ‘first’ five-tonne class vehicle in the German market, and it incorporates a 45kW fuel cell from Ballard Power Systems and an electric motor with 150kW output.
