Queen’s speech incites hydrogen discussion in parliament

The Queen reiterated the UK governments commitment to green industries, including hydrogen, during the Queen’s speech with supporting documents referencing the £240m ($388m) hydrogen production fund and the Holyhead hydrogen hub.

Since the speech, various ministers have debated hydrogen in parliament.

Fay Jones MP made reference to Riversimple’s plan to create jobs and urged on the front bench to prioritise hydrogen as a means of achieving net zero in the UK.
