Repsol successfully uses biomethane to produce renewable hydrogen

Repsol has achieved a significant milestone by producing renewable hydrogen for the first time using biomethane.

This opens up the possibility of utilising another means to produce hydrogen to meet the rising demands in Europe.

Taking place in the Repsol refinery in Cartagena, Spain, the renewable hydrogen has been used to create low carbon footprint fuels for both road transportation and aviation.
