RWE and Westfalen Group to construct up to 70 hydrogen refuelling stations in Germany

RWE and Westfalen Group have announced a joint venture to develop a hydrogen fuel station infrastructure in Germany.

The first hydrogen refuelling station (HRS), set to be operational in 2024, will be located in Lingen, Germany, with RWE supplying the green hydrogen.

The facility will be run by Westfalen and installed at RWE’s Emsland gas-fired power station.
