Scottish Affairs Committee launches hydrogen enquiry

“Scotland has a key role to play in the development of a UK hydrogen economy.”

That’s the belief of the Scottish Affairs Committee, which today (Jan 6) launched a new inquiry considering hydrogen and carbon capture in the region to meet carbon reduction targets.

In looking into the enquiry, the Scottish Affairs Committee will explore opportunities for both blue and green hydrogen. Of course, the blue hydrogen is where the carbon capture aspect will come into play.
