Slovakia looks to deploy hydrogen-powered buses

Slovakia is looking to deploy hydrogen-powered buses for the decarbonisation of its transportation sector.

Supporting such shift is Loop Energy which has received an S300 fuel cell module order from Slovakia-based Mobility & Innovation to fuel the electric powertrain of an eight-meter transit bus.

Described by Mobility & Innovation as a “natural step”, the order is the first under the commercial agreement signed between the parties, which anticipates over $1.9m in fuel cell shipments from Loop Energy over the next two and a half years.
