IRENA and Snam have signed a new partnership agreement that will look at developing green hydrogen pilot projects around the world as a means to accelerate its adoption.
Under the agreement, the two companies will cooperate to study and implement, alongside other partners, pilots’ projects based on renewables generation, transportation and the distribution of green hydrogen.

To do this, Snam and IRENA will encourage public-private partnerships to accelerate hydrogen demand on industrial scale and will also promote research and development initiatives to bring down costs and support technological developments.
