South Korea to explore hydrogen production in ‘close to its largest’ nuclear plant

Nuclear power continues to be regarded as a key method for producing industrial scale hydrogen and will be explored through a new agreement that will see nuclear hydrogen production introduced in South Korea.

Unveiled today (Jan 17), a memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Estonia-based Elcogen, Uljin-County and Next Energy Corporation to install an electrolyser with a nuclear plant for hydrogen production.
