Tata Cummins inaugurates Indian hydrogen ICE manufacturing facility

Tata Cummins has inaugurated a new hydrogen internal combustion engine (ICE) manufacturing facility in India.

Located in Jamshedpur, the near-seven-acre site will produce hydrogen-fuelled ICEs for medium and heavy commercial vehicles and other low-emission technology products in India.

Established by Tata Cummins subsidiary TCPL GES, which was formed in March 2023, the plant’s opening comes less than a year after the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State of Jharkhand.
