TECO 2030 and AVL announce successful feasibility study of fuel cell systems

TECO 2030 and AVL have successfully completed a feasibility study for developing and industrialising a one size fits all fuel cell system for hydrogen-powered trucks.

The feasibility study was undertaken at TECO 2030’s production facility in Narvik, Norway, and proved that system performance targets cold be met or exceeded using existing TECO 2030 infrastructure and the company’s marine fuel cell technology.

The study investigated how the same fuel cell system can be integrated to fit both an EU 40 tonne truck and US class 8 heavy-duty truck.
