TECO 2030 and AVL sign feasibility study contract for fuel cell-powered trucks

TECO 2030 and AVL have are to undertake a feasibility study for developing a fuel cell System for heavy duty (HD) trucks.  

TECO 2030 plans to industrialise the HD fuel cells and manufacture them at the Innovation Centre and gigafactory in Narvik, Norway.  

The company estimates around 1m zero emission HD trucks will need to be deployed in Europe and the US alone by 2030, in addition to the existing trucks which can be uplifted with a HD Fuel Cell System.
