Tees Green Hydrogen project selected as part of NZHF funding

EDF Renewables UK and its subsidiary Hynamics has announced its Tees Green Hydrogen project has been shortlisted for the UK Government’s Net Zero Hydrogen Fund (NZHF).

The Teesworks-based project will supply local industry with hydrogen to support decarbonisation aims and contribute to a reduction in industrial pollution.

The initial 7.5MW electrolyser will be designed to scale to over 100MW in line with emerging demand, with work expected to begin on site in 2024 and the facility to be operational by 2025, subject to NZHF and planning considerations.
