The €8bn ‘White Dragon’ project could produce 250,000 tonnes of green hydrogen annually

A new €8bn ($9.6bn) proposal dubbed ‘White Dragon’ could produce around 250,000 tonnes of hydrogen per year in Greece with the project duration intended between 2022 and 2029.

DEPA Commercial, project coordinator, in collaboration with Advent Technologies, Damco Energy, PPC, DESFA, Hellanic Petroleum, Motor Oil, Corinth Pipeworks, TAP and Terna Energy submitted the project plans to the Greek Government on May 5.

The investment proposal will see the development of an innovative integrated green hydrogen project in Greece which covers the entire hydrogen value chain.
