The Midlands, UK, is aiming to be the heartland of hydrogen engine developments with the area relying on its manufacturing expertise to create a new wave of hydrogen-based technologies.
As part of this target, a pioneering Midlands Engine Hydrogen Technologies Strategy has been released today (Dec 14), created by partners across the region, that aims to champion hydrogen in the UK and be a key driving force in the UK’s low-carbon future.
The Midlands Engine Hydrogen Technologies Strategy is part of the pan-regional partnership’s wider Ten Point Plan for Green Growth which is spearheading action to create cleaner practices within the Midlands and support the UK’s decarbonisation goals.
