Toyoda Gosei launches hydrogen tank for fuel cell trucks

Toyoda Gosei, subsidiary of Toyota Motors, has launched a large high pressure hydrogen tank for fuel cell trucks.  

The tanks are used in light-duty fuel cell electric trucks that are being brought to market by Commercial Japan Partnership Technologies Corporation (CJPT) backed by Toyota Motor Corporation and Isuzu Motor Limited.  

The tanks, installed at the rear of the vehicle, can be filled with about eight times as much hydrogen as the passenger fuel cell vehicle tanks Toyoda Gosei produces for the Toyota Mirai. .
