Toyoda Gosei has received a Technology & Development Award from Toyota Motor Corporation for the high-pressure hydrogen tanks featured in the new Mirai vehicle.
Developed by Toyoda Gosei in collaboration with Toyota, the tanks are a crucial component for fuel cell vehicles and hold hydrogen compress at high pressures.
The Mirai vehicle is equipped with three of the hydrogen tanks, one more than the previous model.
