Toyota unveils hydrogen storage module for FCEVs; receives interest from various markets

Toyota Motor Corporation has developed a hydrogen storage module that integrates multiple resin high-pressure hydrogen tanks for fuel cell electric vehicles.

Having already been successfully trailed in the company’s Mirari, the technology has proved a success and acts as a key solution in order for Toyota to achieve its hydrogen-based society goals.

Already, the module is being eyed up by future customers that are active in railways, shipping and port cargo handling, all of which are very eager to get their hands on the technology as a means to cut emissions.
