Two hydrogen hubs to be developed in Australia’s Hunter Region following government funding

Two additional hydrogen hubs are set to be developed in the Hunter Region of Australia with the federal government committing $82m to the development.

One of the projects set to receive a part of this fund it’s the Port of Newcastle which is aiming to convert the area into a hub for hydrogen.

The project will receive $41m and is a joint venture with Macquarie Capital and Macquarie’s Green Investment Group and is currently progressing an ARENA funded feasibility study.
