UKESC taskforce launched to achieve 2050 net zero targets; UK HFCA shows support

A brand-new UK Energy Supply Chain (UKESC) taskforce has been launched to support UK-based companies transition to a green future, with the help of clean technologies such as hydrogen.

The UK Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (UK HFCA) on Monday (August 23) said it has joined the new taskforce which is co-chaired by DIT Minister for Exports Graham Stuart and BEIS Energy Minister Anne-Marie Trevelyan.

Launch of UKESC comes just one week after the UK launched its National Hydrogen Strategy and will support the country’s 2050 net zero ambitions.
