UK’s North West set to be pivotal in the hydrogen revolution

After hard lobbying by several companies situated in the North West of the UK, the UK Government has given HyNet a track one status which will see hydrogen pour into the region.

Revealed today (Oct 29), of six regional bids, HyNet and the Teesside-based East Coast Clusters schemes were chosen by the Government to receive a cut of £1bn ($1.37bn) in funding to start decarbonising their regions as early as 2025.
