University of Wyoming awarded funding to lead blue hydrogen project

The University of Wyoming (UW) has been selected to receive $693,514 from the Wyoming Innovation Partnership (WIP) to develop a blue hydrogen project.

WIP will support the US university’s ‘Advancing Blue Hydrogen Production and Transport Infrastructure in Wyoming’ project which was launched in September (2023).

Set to last 12 months, the project will examine the technical, economic, environmental, social and policy issues related to nuclear-powered hydrogen produced from conventional and renewable gas resources in Wyoming.
