Victorian supports businesses to switch to hydrogen with two new grant programmes

The Victorian Government has dedicated $7.2m to deliver trials, pilots and feasibility studies to businesses which are looking to transition to hydrogen and a clean energy alternative fuel.

Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change Lily D’Ambrosio announced two new grants programmes last week to support the industrial sector to prepare for renewable hydrogen by funding a variety of projects.

Under the grants, the Government will invest $6.2m through the Renewable Hydrogen Commercialisation Pathways Fund, and an additional $1m to assist businesses to develop business plans to use hydrogen through the Renewable Hydrogen Business Ready Fund.
