Wärtsilä to provide hydrogen blend engine generating sets for “Floating Living Lab” in Singapore

Technology group Wärtsilä is set to provide engine generating sets, that will run on a hydrogen and natural gas blend, for Keppel Offshore & Marine’s “Floating Living Lab” (FLL) in Singapore.

The FLL project comprises of a floating barge with LNG bunkering facilities for harbour crafts and small vessels.

It is also expected to house an embedded power generation system that will power Keppel O&M’s operations, with excess electricity to be exported to the national grid or stored in the FLL’s energy storage systems.
