Werner Enterprises adds hydrogen fuel cell truck to fleet

A US transportation and logistics provider has adopted a hydrogen fuel cell-powered truck into its fleet as the firm looks to cut its carbon footprint.

Werner Enterprises on Monday (May 20) announced it had integrated an International RH Series Class 8 hydrogen truck into its fleet.

Navistar-owned, International’s truck has been equipped with Accelera by Cummins fuel cell and electric powertrains to offer emission-free operation.
