Women in hydrogen: Faria Rafique, TFP Hydrogen Products

Kicking off our Women in hydrogen series, in partnership with Women in Green Hydrogen, H2 View speaks to Faria Rafique, Scientist at UK-based TFP Hydrogen Products.

I am currently working as a scientist within the innovation team at TFP Hydrogen Products, where my role is focused on the development of materials for PEM electrolysers, fuel cells and batteries.

My PhD research was carried out at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan, where my work focused on the synthesis and development of efficient and scalable electrocatalysts materials for hydrogen production by water electrolysis. I did a postgraduate research associate course at Queen Mary University of London, which focused on the fabrication of electrode materials for photo (electro) chemical water electrolysis, and tuning of titanium dioxide (TiO2) based solar cells. After this time in academia and hydrogen research, I became motivated to join the hydrogen production industry to put my knowledge and skills into practice, to do this I joined TFP Hydrogen Products.

What is TFP Hydrogen Products currently working on?
