Wood to deliver pre-FEED for Scottish and English hydrogen network projects

Wood has today (May 15) announced it will carry out pre-FEED studies for SGN’s planned hydrogen network projects in Scotland and southern England.

Over the next year, Wood will deliver three pre-front-end engineering design (FEED) studies to determine the route and design of new dedicated hydrogen pipelines and associated transmission infrastructure for SGN’s H2 Caledonia and H2 Connect projects.

In March (2023), SGN and National Gas Transmission (NGT) announced plans for the H2 Caledonia and H2 Connect project to explore how existing networks can support the development of Scottish and southern English clusters.
