Work begins on Menter Môn Holyhead Hydrogen Hub in Anglesey

Menter Môn has announced work on the Holyhead Hydrogen Hub has begun, becoming the ‘first of its kind’ in Wales.

Supported by the Isle of Anglesey County Council, the facility will produce green hydrogen at the Parc Cybi site and distribute it as fuel for zero emissions, hydrogen-powered vehicles.

Wardell-Armstrong will undertake a survey before construction starts, with the work being supervised by Gwynedd Archaeological Trust. Jones Bros and Cadarn Consulting Engineering have been appointed to support the project in its early stages, work beginning on June 26th and expected to last around 28 days to complete.
