Yamaha unveils hydrogen-powered golf buggy concept

Yamaha Golf-Car company (YGC) has revealed a golf car concept utilising a hydrogen-powered engine, the DRIVE H2.

The “first of its kind” concept model uses an internal combustion engine (ICE) being fuelled by hydrogen, and is equipped with two high-pressure hydrogen tanks, both 25 litres.

The tanks are positioned under the driver’s seat and on the back of the rear seat. The vehicle is based on Yamaha’s DRIVE2 CONCIERGE4, the four-seater golf car mainly sold in the US.
