ZeroAvia: Taking hydrogen up, up and away

Hydrogen as a zero emission fuel for the mobility sector is quickly progressing through numerous organisations, projects and consortiums. But taking that commitment to hydrogen one step further (or higher) is hydrogen-focused powertrain developer ZeroAvia.

Founded in 2017, the California and UK-based company is currently developing a new type of engine based on hydrogen fuel cells that aims to transform the highly pollutant aerospace industry into a cleaner sector.

In a recent company development, the powertrain expert announced a new partnership with Starburst Aerospace, just one of the company’s many partnerships that are helping to make its end goal a reality.
