A new coalition of organisations has launched a Gold Hydrogen Programme in order to extract hydrogen that has been created deep underground.
Global transport produced approximately 7.3 billion metric tons of CO2 emissions in 2020, according to Statista. Medium and heavy-duty trucks accounted for 22% of those emissions, making them the secondlargest polluters after passenger cars (41%), and highlighting the need for decarbonisation.
