10MW of Bloom Energy’s hydrogen fuel cells to provide clean power to Colchester, US

Bloom Energy is set to provide 10 MW of its hydrogen fuel cells to bring clean energy to the town of Colchester in Connecticut, US.

The company has said that the fuel cells will be used to provide clean energy to the local community and cut carbon emissions by 3,850 tonnes per year.

To achieve this, Bloom Energy will utilise its solid oxide fuel cell technology to persevere the natural beauty of Colchester that is named a Community Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.
