300MW electrolyser set to be coupled for hydrogen production in Denmark as HySynergy project begins phase II

Energinet has positively assessed Everfuel’s request for a 350MW connection for Phase II of the HySynergy power-to-X plant in Denmark that will enable plans to connect a 300MW electrolyser for hydrogen production.

Revealed today (Feb 7), HySynergy Phase II is expected to produce green hydrogen for zero emission mobility and as refinery input, but production of ammonia and methanol as PtX products is also being considered.
