ABB to provide support on H2 Energy’s hydrogen production plant in Denmark

H2 Energy has contacted ABB to provide engineering support for its Esbjerg hydrogen production facility in Denmark.

ABB will provide basic electrical engineering for the power distribution from grid point of connection to electrolysers, and for other process equipment at the 1GW hydrogen production facility, along with the hydrogen distribution hub in Fredericia, Denmark.

The production plant is expected to produce up to 90,000 tonnes of hydrogen per year and supply enough hydrogen to meet the annual fuel consumption demands of more than 10,000 heavy industry trucks.
