AGIG to construct 10MW hydrogen production facility in Victoria, Australia

Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) has said it will soon kick-off the construction of its 10MW hydrogen production facility in Victoria, Australia.

The Hydrogen Park Murray Valley (HyP Murray Valley) is expected to commence operations in mid 2025 to produce renewable hydrogen with 10MW of electrolysis with plans to deliver up to a 10% hydrogen blend in existing natural gas supply in the Albury-Wodonga region.

Supported by grant funding from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and the Victorian state government, with further financial backing from the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC), the project is hoped to demonstrate the potential of low-carbon gas supply.
