Bergen Engines successfully tests 15% hydrogen blend in gas engine

Hydrogen engines in Norway continue to be explored with Bergen Engines revealing on Tuesday (Feb 1) it has started the first tests on a B-Series gas engine with a blend of 15% hydrogen.

Hydrogen blends could be a crucial way in which to generate demand for hydrogen in the industry whilst also decarbonising various carbon intensive sectors that utilise gas engines.
