Boundary Power’s hydrogen stand-alone system receives backing

Boundary Power has unveiled a ‘first-of-its-kind’ hydrogen-integrated stand-alone power system (HiSAPS) in Australia.

Funded by the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) Victoria, the HiSAPS was demonstrated at the Ampcontrol manufacturing site in Ringwood, where the unit powered the internal lighting of the LED manufacturing facility.

The technology design replaces the onboard diesel generator with a self-contained hydrogen power system, developed by LAVO – a prototype system developed and tested in New South Wales and deployed by LAVO for trials across the country.
