Carlton Power’s new Scottish green hydrogen hub with plans to clean up insulation

Carlton Power has entered a strategic partnership with glass mineral wool insulation manufacturer Superglass for the supply of green hydrogen to its manufacturing facility in Stirling, Scotland.

Supporting the development of Carlton’s proposed Stirling Green Hydrogen scheme, the partnership is hoped to reduce Superglass’ reliance on natural gas in its operations.

Coming as Carlton’s first Scottish scheme, the Stirling project will see the initial development of 10MW of electrolysis capacity to produce 1,000 tonnes of green hydrogen per year, constructed near Superglass’ plant on the Thistle Industrial Estate.
