Cepsa and Fertiberia sign strategic alliance to collaborate on green hydrogen valley

Spanish-based companies Cepsa and Fertiberiahave signed a strategic alliance to boost hydrogen production and decarbonise industry in Huelva. 

Under the agreement, the companies will further invest into the development of the Andalusian Green Hydrogen Valley in Huelva to jointly optimise decarbonisation plans, including the production of green hydrogen and other renewable gases.  

The agreement will allow Cepsa and Fertiberia to independently meet Spain’s Hydrogen Roadmap which sets a target for 25% of hydrogen consumption in industry to be renewable by 2030.
