Chemours to support Versogen in scaling its ‘next generation’ clean hydrogen production technology

An innovative method in producing clean hydrogen is set to be supported by Chemours as it aims to accelerate the hydrogen ecosystem and produce affordable green hydrogen at scale.

The technology produced by US-based Versogen is a new class of electrolyser, built with patented anion exchange membrane (AEM) technology, is engineered to reduce the costs of producing green hydrogen at every stage with the most advanced membranes that offer durability, performance and scalability.

The pioneering approach to hydrogen generation provides operational benefits similar to a proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyser system at a significantly lower capital expenditure cost whilst creating high-purity hydrogen.
