European Commission visits HYBRIT facility to explore hydrogen’s potential in steelmaking

HYBRIT, an innovative steel producing facility in Sweden using hydrogen, welcomed a European Commissioner to its facility to showcase HYBRIT’s innovative technology.

In a bid to promote hydrogen activities and see how it can play a major role in the decarbonisation of hard-to-abate sectors, Kadri Simson, European Commissioner for Energy, recently visited the pilot plant in Luleå.
