Evides Industriewater to supply Shell’s Dutch hydrogen project with demiwater for 15 years

Evides Industriewater has said it will supply demiwater to Shell’s landmark Holland Hydrogen I project in the Netherlands over the next 15 years.

Demiwater is very pure water with all salts and mineral removed – a critical requirement for hydrogen production through water electrolysis.

The Holland Hydrogen I project is set to become the “largest” renewable hydrogen project in Europe, with capacity to produce up to 60,000 kilograms of hydrogen per day.
