First Hydrogen vehicles rack up more than 700 miles in 47 hours

First Hydrogen has announced its hydrogen-powered light commercial vehicle (LCV) has amounted 742 miles in 47 hours during testing with Rivus.

The fleet management provider undertook the trials for just over four weeks, with the tests completed on diverse routes to provide data on how the vehicle performs in different conditions.

The vehicles were emptied and loaded to 90% of its maximum weight capacity, achieving 311 miles on the 10.3kg tank of hydrogen, with the hydrogen fuel cell used more on certain types of journeys and less in others.
