HYBRIT’s hydrogen produced steel to be used for automotive safety products

HYBRIT’s hydrogen produced steel is set to be used to develop automotive safety products, such as airbags and seatbelts, as part of a new agreement between SSAB and Autoliv, unveiled today (Nov 15).

It is expected that the innovative HYBRIT will provide the fossil-free steel for this partnership that uses hydrogen for an innovative steelmaking procedure.
