HyCentA aims for “complete implementation” in hydrogen research projects, says Trattner

HyCentA (Hydrogen Research Centre Austria) based in Graz is an organisation committed to the research and development (R&D) of green hydrogen technologies.

The company recently invested €5m (S5.4m) into new fuel cell and electrolyser stack and system testing infrastructure at its Graz test centre, after it was promoted to become part of the Competence Centres for Excellent Technologies (COMET) funding programme.

Its new COMET research activities will ensure a new laboratory for electrochemical cells, and test benches for fuel cells, electrolysis stacks and hydrogen systems will be built at the existing centre, offering R&D opportunities of electrolysis and fuel cell technologies.
