Hydrogen Europe has launched a new study exploring hydrogen’s role in producing green steel today (May 12).
With geopolitical tension in Europe continuing to accelerate the use of renewable energy to secure the EU’s energy independence, hydrogen-derived steel production could be a major market in the future.
The EU is also cutting back on coal imports from Russia in addition to exploring low-carbon technologies.
