Hydrogen Hubs in Action at H2 View’s North America Hydrogen Summit

Session one took on the hot topic of Hydrogen Hub: In action with Brenor Brophy, Vice-President of Product Development at Plug Power kicking off the session by offering an insight into the company’s goals of ramping up hydrogen production in the region, following recently announced plans which look to provide customers from San Diego to Vancouver with liquid green hydrogen.

Brophy said, “Plug Power announced production goals of 500 metric tonnes per day by 2025, the entire North American liquid hydrogen market is around about 200 metric tonnes today.

“In just about three years plug will be two and a half times larger than the entire market is today. We’re planning 1000 tonnes by 2028, and even with a view to reach 5000 tonnes in some time.”
