Hydrogen-powered vehicles deployed in Welsh town by Marubeni and Hyppo Hydrogen Solutions

Marubeni Europower and Hyppo Hydrogen Solutions have agreed to further collaborate on delivering zero-emission transport services to Bridgend, Wales.

A hydrogen-powered fuel cell car utilising local green hydrogen has provided Bridgend Community Transport customers with essential services, including transport to doctors’ appointments and the hospital.

Alongside this, a hydrogen fuel cell bus took users between Bridgend train station and the Royal Porthcawl golf club during the Senior Open golf tournament.
