InterContinental Energy receives $115m of funding to advance hydrogen projects

InterContinental Energy has entered into its next phase of growth following $115m worth of investment to accelerate the deployment of its portfolio of hydrogen projects.

Global institutional investor, GIC, and the world’s ‘largest’ clean hydrogen pureplay investor, Hy24, provided the strategic equity investment which will contribute to InterContinental’s vision to scale up the green hydrogen economy.

The company is developing a portfolio of green hydrogen projects in Australia and the Middle East, with an ambition of nearly 100GW of total installed renewable capacity and up to 10GW of capacity targeted for delivery in the first phases before 2030.
